Paul Wurth and SMS group celebrate 150 years of shaping the future

On Saturday, September 23, 2023, our company location in Luxembourg celebrated our Big Family Day – a celebration for our colleagues and their families, taking place at the location of our future Paul Wurth campus in Nei-Hollerich.

Besides the opportunity to celebrate, we also want to use this occasion to express our gratitude: To our current and former employees and their families, for investing their time and hard work into our success, as well as to or customers and business partners for their loyalty and trust. All of you played an important role in our 150-year history. CEO André Schneider highlighted in his opening speech: “To be able to celebrate 150 years, a company needs to go through many changes and adaptations. Now, we are going through another paradigm change that we are facing together, as one group.” We are proud to be able to look back onto 150 years of history and look into the future with hope and determination.
