Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Service Centres
A vital aspect of a successful service business is our proximity to you. In order to be the leading partner, assisting the customer on site, Paul Wurth has been setting up its own service units and repair workshops in its main markets over the last few years. As a result, services with a high added value can be performed locally and efficiently in our service centres on our customers’ equipment. About 150 qualified and motivated employees worldwide assist you with any issues regarding Paul Wurth technology and answer any queries competently.
North America
Our North American Service Centre by Paul Wurth Inc. is located in Valparaiso in the Great Lakes region, Indiana, in close proximity to our customers. Our experts there provide a broad assortment of site and shop services for the full range of Paul Wurth equipment, such as Bell Less Top® components, stove equipment, all types of valves and casthouse equipment.
South America
Paul Wurth do Brasil’s Service Unit in Vespasiano, close to Belo Horizonte (M.G.), relies on a well-fitted workshop infrastructure to take care of the local steel industry’s needs for maintenance services, spare parts, repair and reconditioning of Paul Wurth equipment and manufacture of small components. In Brazil, Paul Wurth do Brasil Montagens e Manutenção Industrial Ltda is specialised in on-site maintenance and erection services for the steel industry and associated sectors.
India
Paul Wurth India Ltd is operating a service workshop in Bhubaneshwar (Odisha) for the manufacture, repair and maintenance of various equipment and components. This approach is in line with the “Make in India” concept and increases Paul Wurth’s proximity and responsiveness towards our Indian customers.
China
Shanghai Paul Wurth Metallurgical Equipment Manufacture Co. Ltd is the Group’s service arm in the P.R. of China. Beyond providing proximity services to the Chinese iron and steel industry, the workshop in Shanghai is specialised in the manufacture of complete original equipment, spare parts as well as reconditioning of Paul Wurth BLT® charging equipment as well as components for cokemaking plants.
