Senior Accountant (m/f)

Do you have experience working in Financial Accounting for Luxembourg-based companies? Are you passionate about working in a dynamic environment for a ground-breaking real estate project in Luxembourg City? We are embarking on a project which will comprise a residential area for 4 000 people and a commercial area that will provide 2 500 workplaces. Take this opportunity to leverage skills and talent. Inspire us with your professionalism, precision and your pragmatic approach to the following:

  • Prepare the statutory accounts for the local special purpose vehicles under Lux GAAP / IFRS
  • Work on budget forecast and analysis
  • Establish and maintain a cost pricing model for the future plots and parcels of the propertyTrack and monitor bank accounts
  • Prepare tax and VAT returns
  • Liaise with third parties such as tax authorities, auditors, banks, etc.
  • Reconcile general accounts
  • Ensure accuracy of fixed asset registers
  • Coordinate with the real estate project management team
  • Support finance team in Luxembourg headquarters

What do we expect from you?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar
  • 3 -7 years of relevant experience, ideally in an industrial or real estate environment
  • SAP experience is required
  • Good knowledge of Lux GAAP and applicable taxation rules; IFRS is an asset
  • Fluent in English and German or French; Luxembourgish is considered as an advantage.
