We are currently proposing a Bachelor thesis of about 3-6 months on the following subject:

The purpose of the Bachelor thesis is to find a new dust outlet valve design that exceeds the existing solutions in all aspects, technologically and economically.

  • In a first step, existing dust outlet valves should be analysed to understand the function and the problematics of this type of valve.
  • In a second step, new concepts should be analysed and elaborated with regards to high wear resistance, low maintenance and small overall construction height.
  • In a final step, the basic engineering and detail engineering for the main parts should be elaborated.

Your profile:

  • You are a Bachelor student in mechanical engineering
  • You are fluent in English; German and/or French as additional languages are an advantage
  • Proficiency in solid modelling with Creo Parametric 2.0 or similar
  • You should have a high degree of initiative and responsibility and willingness to fully invest yourself in the assigned projects
  • You are able to work in a professional and independent manner and to quickly integrate yourself in a dynamic multinational team.
